Apostrophes and Plurals

from http://englishplus.com/news/news1201.htm

When are apostrophes used to make words plural?

The simple answer is this: virtually never.

I only add one in when it is absolutely necessary. Ex: do's and don'ts. Otherwise it would look like dos and don'ts... dos as in disk operating system or denial of service dos.

Fun with plurals.
I liked the 1990s.
I have many DVDs.
Laptops are great.
The dresses are on sale.
I have A's and B's on my report card.
My Y's look like elongated S's.

Missing Gigabytes

Ever wondered why your actual hard drive capacity is lower than it should be?

To find out how much GB you 'lost', multiply the advertised size times .0686
example: 60 GB * .0686 = 4.166 which is the space that is missing

Take that number and subtract that from 60. So a real 60 GB drive is actually 55.884 GB.

---
What their definition of a GB is: 1,000,000,000 bytes
What GB should be: 1024 MB
