Wireless Laser Mouse 6000

I've been using this mouse for about a week now. My previous mouse was an Intellimouse Explorer 4.0. The weight is heavy compared to older mouse due to its batteries. The laser sensor is off-center to the right, so moving it took some getting used to. Since I had 2 NiMH batteries, I don't have to replace AA batteries repeatedly.

Apostrophes and Plurals

from http://englishplus.com/news/news1201.htm

When are apostrophes used to make words plural?

The simple answer is this: virtually never.

I only add one in when it is absolutely necessary. Ex: do's and don'ts. Otherwise it would look like dos and don'ts... dos as in disk operating system or denial of service dos.

Fun with plurals.
I liked the 1990s.
I have many DVDs.
Laptops are great.
The dresses are on sale.
I have A's and B's on my report card.
My Y's look like elongated S's.

Missing Gigabytes

Ever wondered why your actual hard drive capacity is lower than it should be?

To find out how much GB you 'lost', multiply the advertised size times .0686
example: 60 GB * .0686 = 4.166 which is the space that is missing

Take that number and subtract that from 60. So a real 60 GB drive is actually 55.884 GB.

---
What their definition of a GB is: 1,000,000,000 bytes
What GB should be: 1024 MB

Observations in Driving 6

It's fun driving down the parking garage on neutral.
Backing out of the driveway on neutral - the stealth reverse
Cars that play music when reversing are wrong

Observations in Driving 5

It's always nice to be in the front row on a red light.
It's nice to run a yellow light.
It's not so nice to run a red when a police car is facing the other direction.
It's a nice feeling to be the fastest one to accelerate when the light turns green
It's not so nice after waiting for the ligth to turn green, the light ahead of you turns red.
It's nice to see a nice car on the road (Viper, BMW 6, Porche...)

Observations in Driving 4

Fast lane does exist contrary to what the DMV booklet says
--------------------------------------
(=) (=) (=) (=) 70-80 mph -->
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
(=) (=) (=) (=) 60-70 mph -->

(=) (=) (=) (=) (=) (=) [======][=] 55-65 mph -->

Observations in Driving 3

Why busy 2 lane roads are a pain

30 mph behind a truck

Waiting for the damn car to make a left turn

---------------------------------------

--> [(==)] [(==)] [(==)] [(==)] [(==)] RED
-------------------------------------
Just way too many cars waiting on red light

Observations in Driving 2

What's worse than changing lanes to leave a slow lane to get to the fast lane?

Find that the fast lane is now the slow lane and the slow lane is now the fast lane.

Observations in Driving

What's worse than being cut off by ten cars?

Being behind a car that is cut off by ten cars.
